Every week, a day is set apart to extend the learning beyond the classroom. Students observe special days like Hiroshima Day, remembering the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during the Second World War, Environment Day by planting saplings, Literacy Day by reading books to the under-privileged.
Days of special importance like Rang Fest week and Nutrition week are organized and observed for KG and Primary level students to foster a sense of creativity, fun-filled learning and healthy eating habits which expand the horizons of knowledge within the child.
Through Participatory learning which is mandatory for the students, Intellectual and Cognitive skills are developed by making sure that the children involve, interact, understand and overcome, not only in studies but in every walk of their life. The school has formed English Club, Mathematics Club, Science Club, Social Science club, and Green Club as a part of scholastic activities. Debates, presentations, demonstrations and group discussions are organized to help gain knowledge through activities, overcome fear, improve confidence, manage time, develop organizational and study skills, understand their unique profiles of strength and weakness, become self-confident, improve leadership qualities, express themselves and develop their individuality.
Exposing students of all classes to various Olympiads pertaining to different subjects is an indispensable part of the curriculum, which plays a pivotal role in developing the critical and analytical skills of the students. This kind of competitive exams promote research – mindedness in the students, which in turn, will facilitate their learning in higher classes.
Future Innovation in Science and Technology is an intra – school project day conducted to enhance in-depth knowledge in subjects. It helps the students to grow in an environment, which provides them with hands – on – experience in their subjects
Inter–School academic competitions where the inherent potential of the students are show–cased. It builds up the basic skills like observing, inferring, classifying, predicting, defining, interpreting, experimenting and formulating. The main focus is to create YOUNG SCIENTISTS, who can explore with research – mindedness and contribute to the world of discoveries and inventions.
