STAFF ORIENTATION – ST. BRITTO’S ACADEMY.

Dr. Vimala Britto, Secretary and Correspondent of St. Britto’s Academy addressed the teachers on 29th June 2019 at Esthell Homes, Velachery. The session started with the welcome address followed by the introduction of the new teachers.  ROLE AND ATTRIBUTES OF LEADERSHIP was rightly dealt with by making the staff form into teams headed by the new teachers. This was an ice-breaker as well.

The selected team leaders were asked to assign a task for the team members of another team in consultation with his/her team members. The task assigned was planned and the leader of the team that assigned the task was assigned the task of motivating and accompanying the opponent team to execute the task well, in the true spirit and essence of the task.

The concept of EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING was thoroughly embedded in the process and conduct of the team game. The orientation also initiated a discussion regarding the uniqueness of curriculum development linking it with the FUTURISTIC SCOPE, LIFE-ORIENTEDNESS AND SOCIAL CONNECT, creating ample avenues for the child to explore, making learning an enriching experience with multi- disciplinary approach and to discover possibilities for greater accomplishments.
