The learning areas will include two Languages (Core/Elective) out of Hindi, English and other languages specified in the CBSE. The languages may be offered either at Core/Elective level. The same language, however cannot be offered both at the Core and Elective level.  A candidate has the freedom to opt in lieu of one of the two languages above, any other elective subject provided under III below.
