ART- A VOICE BEYOND WORDS

“ART HAS A ROLE IN EDUCATION OF HELPING CHILDREN BECOME LIKE THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF MORE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE”.

Very true to the above-stated quote, Art is the true and creative manifestation of the self. It helps us to connect to the world around us. PROGRAMMING RAINBOW, the ART CLUB OF St. BRITTO’S ACADEMY targets promoting self-expression, stimulating creativity, developing visual learning, processing information in a reflective way, encouraging imaginative thinking, providing sensory input, facilitating the development of fine motor skills.

A plethora of artistic activities are planned in the TALENT HUNT- ART syllabus in specific and art integration into the core subjects in general, as surveys and studies, reveal that the involvement of the students in visual arts, is likely aiding them to fare well in academics as well. An Art Galore was on display for sale comprising all the framed drawings and paintings, craftwork, all done by the young Brittoians. All the guests who grace the school events carry with them the memento or gifts crafted with love by the students and that has been a unique practice of St. Britto’s.
