The widespread corruption has an adverse effect on the development of a nation. According to the instructions of the Central Vigilance Commission, the Vigilance Awareness Week was observed, from 29th October to 3rd November 2018, on the theme “Eradicate Corruption- Build a New India” to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in students’ life. St.Britto’s Academy, Chennai organised various activities during the Vigilance Awareness Week sensitizing the students on this issue. The following activities were conducted by the school:
- ‘Integrity Pledge was administered to all the students, teachers and other staff.
- Poster designing activity was conducted for the students based on the theme: “Eradicate Corruption-Build a New India”.
- Speeches were delivered by the students of class VIII on the significance of the Vigilance awareness week.
- Panel discussion was conducted on the topic ‘Make India corruption free’ by the students of class VIII.
- A session on ‘Ethics and Integrity during exams’ for class X and XII was conducted by our Sr.Vice Principal. Mrs. Joan Rajesh.
