Pongal celebration 2020 at St.Britto’s Academy evoked social cohesiveness and the feeling of jubilation within the campus. Special programs were put on by the Tamil department to thank the farmers across the country, the spirits of nature, the sun, and the farm animals in providing a successful harvest.   Learners partook in various programs and competitions. Students captivated the onlookers with magnificent Rangoli kolams merged with the theme “Heroes of the Harvest” during the competitions .Sweet Pongal was prepared by the cookery department and was distributed to each and every one.  The celebration filled the minds with calm and healthy thoughts and helped to renew social bonds of solidarity.
