Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country occupying parts of the Malay Peninsula and the island of Borneo. It is known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences. The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is home to colonial buildings, busy shopping districts such as Bukit Bintang and skyscrapers such as the iconic, 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers.
INTRO OF THE CLASS:
St.Britto’s Academy, students of Class V- A, presented the virtual performance about the country Malaysia. Students showcased their talents through the power point presentation and exhibited their creative skills. The assembly started with the Malaya prayer song by Caleb followed by bible reading and prayer by Joanna and Sarah Fathima. Athalia croshini did the compering and the introduction was given by Niranjan.
MESSAGE CONVEYED:
The national symbols of Malaysia, its main occupation, the stable food, lifestyle of the Malaysian people well explained by Sahastra Reddy and most interestingly the places to visit in Malaysia explained by Dinakar Reddy in the assembly was no less than a travel guide.
LEARNING OUTCOME:
- To gain knowledge about the country, Malaysia.
- Learn to appreciate the differences in people and traditions.
- To gain knowledge about their national symbols, food, lifestyle, dance and music, festivals and culture.
- To increase confidence level. Exposure to new language and culture.
- To realize that we are all different and that people from different countries have inherently unique histories, families, and ways of living.
