A PRAYER A DAY
The most effective tool we have to carry our praises and requests to the mercy feet of the Lord—the throne of grace—is prayer. When we pray as a group in unison with one another—in speech, in thought, in deed—we call upon God to feel compassion for ourselves and for those with whom we have a common bond.
Every religion extols the virtues of collective prayer. The Hadith 618 in Quran-Sahih Bukhari- Volume 1- Book-11 states that group prayer is 27 times more effective than individual prayer.
According to Matthew 18.20 of the Bible, “When two or three are gathered in my name, I am in the midst of them.”
At every home, the entire family gathers to perform pujas and chant mantras to request the blessing of the Deity.
Everyday prayer is offered by children at Britto’s. There is a schedule for praying, not only for ourselves but also for others. God hears the small Children’s innocent prayer. As adults, we must teach them to pray with purpose, fervently, for all reasons, and in all seasons in order to establish that there is a supreme power, the Almighty, who rules the world.
Every Monday, kids pray for themselves, their families, and their friends. This is the prayer. We can also try to practice offering prayers. What is the one prayer you want to offer to God?
