‘AROUND THE WORLD’ – COUNTRY – SRI LANKA
INTRODUCTION:
Srilanka is a multinational state, formerly Celone, island country lying in the Indian ocean and separated from peninsular India by the Palk strait.It is nicknamed Pearl of the Indian Ocean and teardrop of India.
ABOUT MY CLASS:
The students of Class V- B, presented a virtual fascinating and informative performance about the country
- Britto’s Academy students, of class V– B, presented the Morning Assembly on the given country Sri Lanka.
The assembly commenced with the prayer song “We shall overcome “followed by the Bible reading, prayer for Sri Lanka and special prayer for the Economic Crisis in Sri Lanka and thought for the day
MESSAGE CONVEYED-
The Started from the Significance of the day, History and Geography of Sri Lanka, Population and Culture, National symbols, currency, rivers, languages, flower, animal and sports of Sri Lanka, Explanation of Economic Crisis, V-B traditional dance of Sri Lanka was an eye-catching one contributed effectively by our students.
LEARNING OUTCOME: –
*Students understand the significance of the country Sri Lanka.
*Learn to appreciate the differences in people and traditions.
*To gain knowledge about the country Sri Lanka, their national symbols, Culture, history and geography of Sri Lanka, Population, reason for Economic crisis.
*To increase confidence level on stage.
*To improve their foundational skills.
*Identified their roles and responsibilities.
*Learn to recite and memorize the content.
*Learn to be creative.
*To realize that we are all different and that people from different countries have inherently unique histories, families, and ways of living.
