St. Brittoâs Academy, Velachery, Chennai in association with the BLINK FOUNDATION has been conducting value based classes once a week to help the students inculcate necessary values in their lives. As a fitting culmination to the academic yearâs moral sessions, a value based Special Assembly was held on 13th February 2017 for students of grades VI to VIII. Students shared their thoughts on the Mind Relaxation and Memory Enhancement techniques, brain games, quizzes, activities, personality tests, Collage and the thought-provoking, fun exercises given in the Work Book provided by the Blink Faculty.
In line with their motto âQuestion, Learn and Celebrateâ, the volunteers from the Foundation had encouraged freedom of thought, discipline, exhibition of individual talents and self-awareness through their weekly modules. Remarkable improvement was noticed in the slow learners. Mr. Solomon and his team from Blink conducted Brain gym and energizing activities to the students on the occasion. Their main aim was to activate the studentsâ brain, viz, Concentration, seeking attention towards the happening event. A skit was also staged by students of grade VI, focussing on the theme âBe clever to adapt changes rather than changing the worldâ. The Principal, Ms. Mary Vasantha Kumari, addressed the gathering and thanked the Blink team for their tremendous initiative taken to build up the energy level of the students.
