St. Britto’s Academy celebrated Christmas Canticles with great excitement and joy, presenting two spectacular shows—one for students and another for parents. The theme, “Spread Light, Spread Love. Your Gift – A Life’s Hope,” beautifully captured the essence of Christmas, emphasizing kindness, generosity, and offering hope to others.
The school was adorned with festive decorations, including a grand Christmas tree and vibrant artcraft featuring Santa Claus, reindeer, snowmen, and wreaths, creating a Bethlehem-like ambiance. The event began with a prayer and Bible reading, followed by captivating performances like the Chinese Umbrella Dance, Ribbon Dance, and Angel Dance. Students also delivered an impactful English play, The Christmas Post, which highlighted the importance of family time over social media.
The celebration was filled with melodious carol singing in multiple languages, including classics like Silent Night and Jingle Bells. The Nativity Scene brought the story of Jesus’ birth to life, leaving a heartfelt impression. Correspondent Mrs. Vimala Rani Britto’s inspiring address emphasized spreading love and kindness, aligning with the event’s theme.
Santa Claus and angels added to the festive spirit, bringing joy to all. Additionally, students visited a local community to distribute essential items, spreading Christmas cheer and reinforcing the message of giving and hope.
The event was a resounding success, leaving everyone inspired by the true spirit of Christmas—love, unity, and hope.
