SBA observed Global Family Day on the 30th of January. The main objective of the programme was to promote love and peace among the family members. It was a day when students and parents shared their time, views with friends, made personal pledges of non- violence, spread the message of love and peace to make their immediate world united as a family. A skit based on the theme “Importance and Values of a Family ” was performed by students of Class IV. The Panel Discussion on the topic “Joint family Vs Nuclear family” was moderated by Sania Joshi of VI-C.
The aspect that was highlighted in the Discussion was ‘Attitude plays a vital role in building up our relationship with others’. A short film based on the bond between the parents and their children was also screened. The Principal, Mrs. Mary Vasantha Kumari, addressed the gathering with a motivating and inspiring message on love as we have never had more need for human unity.
