It was taken up for FA2 Assessment under the CCE scheme.

The activities undertaken by class IX included Drafting an Advertisement on Potable Water, Assignment on Water as A Universal Solvent, Slogan Writing on Water Conservation, Assignment on Water Wastage, while the Activities Class X were engaged in included Poster-Designing on Water as a Resource, Assignment on Wind Energy, Questionnaire on Conservation of Water etceteraā€¦Students were split into eight groups of five to six members and the activities were done as a collaborative project.

The Group Leader took up the responsibility for the planning and co-ordination of the Project after discussing with the members. The IDP synthesized more than one discipline of study and sensitized the students toward conservation of water.

The Project focussed on the holistic learning of the children and was judged on the basis of Rubrics like Creativity, Presentation, Content Accuracy, Originality and Team work. It involved all the five main subjects. The IDP created awareness among students about the scarcity of water. The goal of IDP approach was to enable students to think beyond themselves as a Global Citizen and to be sensitive to the issue of scarcity of drinking water for the future generation.
