Orange Day – UKG

The UKG – B section students of St. Britto’s Academy celebrated “Orange Day”on 31 August 2016. The theme ‘LET US BE HELPFUL TO OTHERS’ was brought out well with action songs, skit and dance.

The Main Objective of this celebration was to enable the students understand the prominence of the colour Orange – SACRIFICE and to relate it to habit of helping others. The children dressed themselves as famous Personalities who have helped the society and gave thought provoking speeches about them. Parents appreciated and joined along with the Children who entertained them by singing the Theme O-R-A-N-G-E song and the Title song ‘I have a Puzzle’ which was all about helping others.

Special reminiscence was made to the life and work of St. Theresa of Calcutta, Other personalities include Mahatma Gandhi, Florence Nightingale and Nelson Mandela.

Earlier in the day the children created a frock by pasting orange colour bit papers on the outline as a carry home craft activity.
