The Principal, Staff and Students felicitated the Correspondent on the success of the first ever Premier Futsal held in India between 15-24 July 2016. Mr. Balamurugan, PGT(Mathematics), composed a poem on the occasion and recited it magnificently in Tamil on the 2nd of August 2016. The poem was framed and gifted to the Correspondent. The student representatives of each class welcomed their beloved role-model, Mrs.Vimala Britto, with beautiful collages , handmade photo frames and bouquets. The Correspondent attributed the success of Premier Futsal 2016 to the core team comprising of 150 members who forsook their comfort zones and worked for many weeks to make all arrangements for the Premier Futsal. The presence of the star Futsallers like Falcao, Giggs, Ronaldinho,Crespo, Paul Scholes and Michael Salgado added to the ambience of the event.
The Correspondent expressed joy on behalf of the Chairman too that they were able to give back to the society, by rewarding the football fans with an opportunity to see their heroes in the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. This was a great motivation for the budding football players of SBA.
