Science Quiz was organised and conducted by Dinamalar, a Tamil daily on 05th December 2018. This quiz conducted was a part of in-school Newspaper in Education programme. Objective type written test was conducted to the selected participants from classes 4th to 10th. A total of 102 students participated in the quiz. Based on their individual scores, 16 students were short listed and selected for the second and the final round comprising of 8 teams. The quiz was based on the scientific news published in Dinamalar over a span of 15 days. This was conducted to encourage the students to read the latest news and developments in the field of science and technology.
The Junior, Senior and the Senior Secondary teachers of the Science department , Mrs. Agnes, Mrs. Sheeba, Mrs. Jayalakshmi and Mrs. Preethi coordinated the programme and all the arrangements.
