THE GLOBAL RECYCLING DAY

The Global Recycling Day is observed every year on the 18th of March to recognise the importance of recycling as a resource, not waste. It is a day to raise awareness of the importance recycling plays in preserving our primary resources and securing the future of our planet. The principle of reducing waste, reusing and recycling resources and products is often called the “3Rs.” Reducing means choosing to use things with care to reduce the amount of waste generated. Reusing involves the repeated use of items or parts of items which still have usable aspects.

Class V Started with the Significance of the day, interesting facts, PPT about the recycling and the 3 R’s was clearly explained. The assembly was highlighted by the invoking Dance- the assembly was successful in delivering the aforementioned message.
