“Reading maketh a Full Man”, said Francis Bacon. To promote the habit of reading in students, SBA organized a Book Fair in partnership with Great Books Inc. ,Chromepet, Chennai. The Great Book Fair offered a selection of more than 900 titles in English on a range of subjects such as Activity and Picture Books, Fiction, all-time Classics, Science, Favorite Series and Authors. The school provided fifteen minutes to every class for browsing and buying books. In addition, the Book Fair gavethe students access to the new and the best books for their reading levels and interests, creating excitement for reading. Children loved the funny, interactive and beautifully designed books. The Book Fair gave them an opportunity to read by choice and not by compulsionthrough the school system. It also paved an affordable way to stock up on books for summer reading.
