Women’s Equality Day was celebrated on 4th August 2016 to create awareness among students to empower girls. The highlights of the day were the Miming and the Panel Discussion. The Panel Discussion, brought out to what extent women are equal to men. The participants opined that Women of this 21st century are economically independent and are equal with men. Through the miming, students depicted the broader picture of women who faced social challenges in 19th, 20th and 21st century. The women of 21st century have changed the entire outlook of the society. Women are brave and economically independent.The PowerPoint Presentation of the prominent women inspired the students to achieve greater goals in life. The Principal and Vice Principals graced the occasion and appreciated the well-organized programme. They remarked that it was very informative and that the students had spontaneity, fluency, and coherence with correct pronunciation in their speech.
