BYC – YOUNG FORUM’19

St.Britto’s Academy fêted its inter-school literary competition –

Young Forum 2019 on 26th July.

The session was inaugurated by Mr.Sesha Sai, Honorary Consul General –Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Kannan Girish, and CEO of Live Life Education with the lighting of the lamp, followed by Bytes-Young Forum over the years.

 Students of grade IX, hosted a panel discussion on the topic…

 “Discover the Differences” followed by a country parade on the theme “Population and Agriculture”.

 A variety of competitions including- Story Telling, Poetry Recitation, Word Connect, Spin-a-yarn, Acrostic Poem, I-connect, Sonnet writing were part of Young Forum’19.

There were also presentations on the topic- a video documentary on the burning issue related to environment, sustainable consumption on the world wide scale, Green Buildings and changing approach towards commodity market in the world.

The students endured a detailed study on the topics given and exhibited their best giving way to fresh ideas and discoveries.

The Chief guest for the valedictory were Mr. Tom Liu, CEO of Evergreen Logistics and Mr. Hari, a member of Kerry Indev Logistics and Shipping, graced the event with their presence and addressed the gathering on…

“The importance of Alternative thinking.”

The Hall pulsated with great energy when the results were announced.

For Young Forum the Schools that topped the table were- Alpha Matric Higher Secondary School, followed by St.Mark’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School with and the Third place is shared by Prasad Vidhya Mandir and ABS Vidhya Mandir.

In total 43 schools participated in this GRAND LITERARY COMPETITIONS.
