Mrs. Vimala Britto, Secretary and Correspondent of St. Britto’s Group of Institutions, was one among the panelist discussing on Institution-Society Connect in the WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM held at Hotel Westin, Velachery on 18th and 19th August 2018. She received her Accolade – EXCEPTIONAL LEADER OF EXCELLENCE from Ms. Harbeen Arora, Global Chairperson, ALL Ladies League (ALL)& Women Economic Forum, Founder, Bio-Ayurveda.
With her tremendous experience in implementing purposeful programmes to inculcate the value of care and share, which she built into the curriculum over the past 20 years, she discussed the positive impact that transpires for both the giver and the receiver through the activities. Few of the activities are Inclusive Education regardless of Economic Status, Educational Status of Parents, Caste, Creed, Learning Disabilities in Students Visits to Orphanages, Old age homes, Homes for the Mentally and Physically Challenged, Children with HIV, Children of parents whose are serving the sentence in Jail and so on.
