Students of classes LKG-III of SBA celebrated Diwali on the 27th of October 2016 to create an awareness among the children about the meaning of  Diwali, which is the symbol of hope and positive energy and to have a safe and happy Diwali. Venkatraman and Praneeth (II A) spoke on the significance of the day. âDiwali signifies the victory of good over evil. It indicates that truth and goodness would always triumph,â they said. Thirty children depicted the story about the victory of Lord Krishna over Demon Naragasura â Good over Evil through a Skit. Nine students spoke about the Pros and Cons of Diwali celebrations and the responsibility to safe guard our nature.
Twenty two students of classes I and II sang a Special Song about the fun and joy while bursting crackers, visiting friends and relatives during this season. Twenty eight Tiny tots from KG gave a dazzling Dance performance for fusion of regional Diwali songs. The little children learnt about the history and the significance of this festival and how to safe guard our mother earth even as they celebrated Diwali.
