Wildlife – Preserve the “Pride of the country”

In connection with the International School Award (ISA) project, St. Britto’s Academy (Senior Secondary School), Velachery organized a Special Assembly on “Endangered species”. As a part of the project, students of class VIII presented a Role play in which students masked themselves as extinct animals and narrated a few facts about those animals. The highlight of the day was the mime depicting the significance of saving the endangered animals in order to make us realize that they are a part of our ecosystem.

The Talk Show that shared information about various Government policies and Protection Acts to save endangered species was another attraction. The programme was applauded by the students of classes VI – VIII and it was an eye opener for them as it created awareness about the conservation of endangered species.
